I must have been a REALLY good girl because what did I find in my boots this morning? The Cuisinart Electronic Fondue pot (not the actual pot, just the receipt for it). We got the Bodom Fondue Set as a wedding gift but it’s powered by canned heat which makes it difficult to maintain just the right temp and makes the cheese either a burnt crisp or cold sludge.
I used to make my own classic swiss fondue but then I realized, the fondue in a box (found with the specialty cheeses) is just as good and takes 3 steps… 1. Open box… 2. Open Cheese bag… 3. Pour in pot. I’m a firm believer that most things are better ho made but swiss cheese fondue… it’s a no brainier.
