st. brigid’s cross
While visiting Ireland last summer we heard the story of Brigid of Kildare. According to legend, she crafted this cross design out of thresh on the floor. It’s said that hanging the cross on the left side of the door, it’s believed to bless and bring luck to every person & animal who crosses the threshold. She also happens to be the patron saint of crafts which is a saint I would like to think I have on my side.
