This year we have decided to throw a “Low Expectation” New Years party. Every year new years eve is built up to be this great party night when most of the time it falls flat. So keeping it simple with low expectations we decided to just hang in, watch football, eat good food, drink good drinks and hang out with good people. My invitations and favors follow the same theme with being extremely simple.

• Invitation:
  

  Simple to me means not alot of color. I kept the invitations simple by using only a light blue and white paper combination. The message was simple as well, “It’s going to be 2007 soon, care to join us?”

• Favors:
  

  I put Paper White bulbs in small candy bags and stapled them closed (I used blue staples) with a simple 2007 label. Paper Whites can be bought at your local florist for about .99 a piece.

• Wine Charms:
  

  paper and ribbon is all it took to put these together. I made a unique number for every guest by repeating 2007 over and over again using different color paper and glitter.
