The weather was fantastic over the weekend which gave me some outdoor time to tend to my spring plants. First item on the “To Do” list was to rake and bag the last of the fall leaves. Underneath all those crispy critters I found my tulips and daffodils bulbs starting to punch thru the dirt.

My tulips are in a place that are very likely to be trampled by pedestrians, so I build a prison around them using plastic fencing from Home Depot. It’s perfect because it’s strong enough to last the growing season and is collapsible for storage in the winter.
