Grass in the bass of a potted flower

Planting grass in the base of a flower

What a great idea. Really, I can’t believe I’ve never seen this before. I got this beautiful hydrangea plant as a gift. The plant was purchased from Winston Flowers (the a-list florist in beantown). I’ve seen different variations in how to cover up the dirty dirt at the base of the plant. I’ve seen marbles, candies and polished rocks. I personally think this is the best… a private lawn at the base. This is like 2 gifts in one, I’m going to keep my grass after I plant the hydrangea.

You know…I’ve never seen that before either. But it’s so logical! I love it. 🙂
