OMG, shoot me now. Me and my hubby busted our booties this weekend finishing this room prior to our Easter guests arrival. I’m sad to say that a few guests had to stay here in it’s previous form (sorry Aunt Arlene). But now it’s “done”. Done does not equal installed floor, baseboard or finish work. Urgh.
We’ve learned 2 very important lessons:
1. Installing Dry wall sucks, there are better ways to spend a weekend
2. We will never do this again, we will pay someone to do this next time
Here are some fun shots:

It looks beautiful…did you have that window installed recently? I don’t remember it.

looks great, much different from the last time I saw it. Can’t wait to see it in person – are you taking room-specific internet reservations yet?? 🙂

WOW! I am super impressed! But I totally agree with you about paying someone to do things like this. While it is a good testament to your marriage, some things just aren’t worth it. Can’t wait to see it!

Very impressive! I love how you used the high-gloss wood on the window ledge. It is a beautiful room!
