Pumpkin Puree

When leaving our friends wedding last weekend they gave away the sweet pumpkins they had around as decorations. As a non-pumpkin lover I thought I could always make baby food. I’ve never made real pumpkin before and let me tell you SUPER EASY and SUPER GOOD! Canned pumpkin stinks compared to the fresh goodness.

Cut the pumpkins in half and clean out the seeds. Place them open ends down in water. Cook like hell at 500 degrees for an hour or so depending how big the pumpkins are. Remove all the pumpkin meat and puree in a blender.
