Frozen Banana

I learned this from my friend Vanessa. If you have some almost rotten bananas but no time to make banana bread with them, throw them in the freezer. Then when you got 3-4 to do something with them, pull em out of the ice box and go on with your banana business. I did it for the first time and by golly, it worked. Thanks V!

Do you thaw them first? I have a dozen in the freezer now, my kids love to eat them frozen, and I’ve always wondered about using them in banana bread. Thnx.

I did thaw it first so it was easy to mash. It didn’t take very long at all.

i like to peel them and put them in a ziploc bag before throwing them in the freezer. it saves my fingers from being frozen when i try to peel them afterwards!
